Unfortunately your ground staff is a disgrace for the whole aviation. The way they “work” is a disrespect towards Ukrainians and foreign guests. It is a shame!our flight to Dubai PS373 They opened 4 check- in counters for all UIA flights 1.10.2021. Huge queues,spent 2 hours to drop the bag!all passengers got mixed, none of procedures was followed: baggage drop was for check in, self checkin counters were not open, staff did not come to put credentials to these machines to make it work. Covid regulations? No one heard about. And all this mess was not because they needed time to make proper checks for documents. But the worst there was no one to speak to. I went to ask for supervisor and the lady said : im not supervisor he is in the ticket office. Went there , he said he was not supervisor and the lady who gave me this information she is . So that lady on the counter 1 your shift was during my checkin 3 pm on 1.10.2021 as I dont know her name( this information is for UIA management to work with) just lied , pretended she is not supervisor! Such a ridiculous, unprofessional behaviour. After went back to her and she told me in a very rude way that all this was not their problem, they cant open more counters, go back and wait! Dear airline management teach your staff how to speak and to represent the airline. All your ground staff worked that day like they do not care about anything and they hate what they were doing! Rude to everyone, no assistance, no explanations and customer service and no respect to people. After waiting for 2 hours to reach the counter something went wrong with the system and the lady just passed our passports back with this look how she was annoyed by us and said system was not working , wait. Is this the way to speak? We already had boarding passes ready, but waited in that hell just to drop bags. She said supervisor will come because the problem only wis our names. And what ? 20 min more for supervisor to show up. She came and said something was wrong and checkin was not working for us. I told her how come as my boarding pass was ready with qr code, because of bags was here. She took passports , made a look like there was a problem , typed something, fought with another colleague and let us finally put bags on belt and : you need to pay for second bag! I have a ticket with 2 pieces of luggage 23 kgs each and she just did not see it in front of her. As I said these people already fed up of their jobs! They create problems , work slow, do not respect anyone . Shame! I am very disappointed as ground staff makes the whole image of the airline black and there is no recovery for that. You ruined the whole trip because of your unpleasant attitude, unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour and after why do you wonder that people avoid to fly with UIA . Flight was delayed, boarding was delayed, and ground staff was really playing with each passport, no rush, to on time performance, nothing!!! At the same time you cabin crew was amazing as always. Beautiful girls , well trained, perfect language, beautiful announcements and great job during the flight. Keep it up girls and guys! Your ground staff is a very weak chain in the team, better give them appropriate trainings!
