In September 2024, 6 days before my trip, Booking canceled my accommodation reservation without any explanation. I did not cancel, and the owners of the accommodation assured me that they did not do this either. Instead of help, I received endless stress and a loss of 25,000 UAH.

Contacting Booking support is extremely difficult. The hotline is a separate story: operators who do not understand the situation, plus additional call costs. Booking did not even provide information about who canceled the reservation, although this could have been easily checked through their system.

I have used Booking constantly and have a Genius level 3, but this case showed that the service is completely unreliable. Losing 25,000 UAH is a significant amount, and Booking did nothing to solve the problem or return the money. I am disappointed and no longer trust this platform.

I cannot recommend Booking after such an experience.
